As part of our continued growth, we are looking for our next General Manager to lead the museum's operations and drive its ongoing success.

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for our next General Manager to lead the museum's operations and drive its ongoing success.
Your Mission
- Reporting directly to Group Management, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the museum. Acting as the leader of your location, you will oversee all operational, commercial, and financial activities to ensure sustainable growth, deliver an outstanding visitor experience, and achieve business and profitability objectives.
- You will also lead and develop the local team, represent the Museum of Illusions within the local community, and actively contribute to strengthening the museum's presence and reputation in the region.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately ten employees.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new team members.
- Foster a culture of performance, engagement, and exceptional visitor service.
- Oversee all museum operations to drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Develop, implement, and monitor annual and quarterly business plans.
- Manage the museum budget and monitor financial performance, including P&L responsibility.
- Coordinate commercial and marketing initiatives in collaboration with the corporate teams.
- Ensure an exceptional visitor experience by maintaining the highest standards of service and hospitality.
- Optimize daily operations while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain partnerships with businesses, schools, cultural organizations, and local institutions.
- Represent the Museum of Illusions with media, business partners, and professional networks.
- Collaborate with other museums across the network to share best practices and contribute to innovation.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide regular business and operational reporting to Group Management.
- You are a results-driven leader who inspires and motivates teams to achieve ambitious goals.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in a senior management, operational leadership, or profit center management role.
- Proven success managing teams of at least ten employees.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and P&L responsibility.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to establish and maintain long-term partnerships with local businesses and institutions.
- Experience in the leisure, entertainment, hospitality, tourism, or visitor attraction industry is considered a strong advantage.
