Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and competent Instructor and Site Manager to join our team at the VRC France (Vertical Rescue College of SKYLOTEC France). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical training in working at heights in a wind turbine environment, supervising external freelance instructors, managing facilities and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction, as well as the ability to work closely with a variety of stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

• Theoretical & practical training: Welcoming participants and providing technical training, particularly in working at heights in a wind turbine environment (GWO, use of an electric winch, evacuation systems, PPE competent person, etc.)
• Safety: Supervising participants during practical exercises, ensuring that they scrupulously comply with safety instructions and operational procedures
• Maintenance and PPE inspection: Monitoring, inspection/checking of PPE. Managing the training site's equipment and facilities
• Site management: Ensuring the smooth organisation of daily operations, informing, briefing and supervising external service providers
• Compliance: Comply with environmental protection and workplace safety laws, legislation and regulations, intervening in the event of danger to prevent any major environmental damage
• Support: Work with the Training Manager to develop new training modules, provide support during audits and participate in training planning and customer relations
• Technical sales support: Provide technical expertise and operational support to the sales team by participating in trade shows and industry events, and delivering technical support during client meetings, presentations, and sales discussions both in person and online.
  
  

Profile Required

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in training, with a strong sense of responsibility and an excellent understanding of safety standards. A strong ability to communicate and maintain good relationships with a variety of stakeholders is essential.

Experience in wind energy and/or rope access work and/or first aid rescue required.

Fluency in English is required to communicate with the head office in Germany.

Willing to travel for onsite trainings
